Will adding or removing a splitter in my home affect my services?
Yes. A splitter changes the signal level along the cable line. This can cause intermittent loss of service or complete service failure.
Only a Fidelity technician can ensure that signal requirements are being met. In some cases, splitters might be required to complete an installation. However, a Fidelity technician can ensure that your equipment is receiving the proper signal level. You can install or remove splitters on your own, but it is not recommended.
